Private Lessons for Children, Teens, & Adults
The Centre’s music department offers private instruction in piano, voice, guitar, drums and popular instruments. Private one-on-one instruction allows students to progress at their own pace and gain the best understanding of musical techniques. A variety of style are taught such as pop, broadway, jazz, rock and classical by professional accredited musicians. Students can start private lessons as young as five years old.
Contact the Centre for group lessons. Coaching and performance packages are available for students preparing for auditions and talent shows. Students have the option of participating in low pressure concerts held during the year. Vocal students age 8 and up may audition for our award winning song & dance performance group which performs locally and attends regional and national competitions!
Professional Teaching Environment
Learning music is not just a matter of having a qualified teacher, but also having an environment that is focused on music education. In a professional school environment a student cannot be distracted by TV, pets, ringing phones, siblings or anything else. With only 1/2 to one hour of lesson time per week, a professional school environment can produce better results since the only focus at that time is learning music. Students in a school environment are also motivated by hearing peers who are at different levels and by being exposed to a variety of musical instruments.
The Dance and Music Centre’s sound proofed studios and state of the art equipment facilitate a student’s steady progress in a fun and creative atmosphere.

Make-Up Lessons
Students are allowed two make-up lessons per year with prior notification. If a student fails to show up for a lesson or make-up
lesson with out prior notification the student forfeits the lesson. In the event that it is unavoidable for a teacher to miss a lesson, the Centre will make every effort to substitute another faculty member, reschedule the lesson at a convenient time
or provide a class credit toward a future season.

personalized customer service which earned the D'Valda & Sirico Dance and Music Centre a Connecticut State Citation
for excellence in education.
Multiple music and dance studios as well as an extensive schedule make morning, afternoon and evening lessons possible
Monday through Saturday. Students can choose from a range of music and dance programs available at the same time.
Families can save time by scheduling one child in music lessons while another child is taking dance classes. Many
students also take a music lesson and dance class on the same day, providing more time for other activities and less
driving time for the family!
Students of all ages can start lessons any time of the year or month so... there's no need to wait to get started!
