Alicia Cruzado
Was Prima Ballerina of the Ballet of Tucuman in Argentina. For seven years she was associate professor of the National University of Tucuman, teaching classical dance. Ms. Cruzado was assistant choreographer to renowned Spanish dancer and choreographer of the Bolero School, Angel Pericet. Twenty-five years of work associated with dance master Hector Zaraspe as assistant choreographer, director and teacher in Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, and the United States led to her participation as assistant choreographer and Dance Captain for the Broadway show Tango Pasion. In the Fall of 1997, Alicia traveled back to her native Argentina and was engaged as the Director of Choreography for the show Tango Puro. Currently, she is teaching in New York City and has been Ballet Mistress and Dance Coach for the American Bolero Dance Company.
